Endoscopic Facelift

What is an endoscopic facelift? Does it hurt?.

An endoscopic facelift intervenes deep into the underlying tissue layers, lifting sagging muscles beneath the skin to help you maintain a youthful appearance long-term.

The skin and subdermal structures play a vital role in the overall beauty of the face. Youthfulness, skin aging, and changes in the facial subdermal structure can occur over time. Aging causes the facial skin to become wrinkled and saggy, typically appearing after the age of 35.

Structure of the face.

The face is composed of skin, fat, and muscles resting on the facial bone structure. The collagen system, muscles, and subcutaneous fat typically change over time. Under the effects of sunlight and other factors such as age and stress, the skin and underlying tissues gradually lose their elasticity, becoming loose and saggy — forming hollows and wrinkles on the face.

Treatment areas for endoscopic facelift.

There are multiple surgical sites, and each type can be applied to different areas of the face.

Endoscopic facelift or mini face lift, is a  facial rejuvenation procedure designed to target the central facial region, including the temples, cheeks, nasolabial folds, and marionette lines.

Pre-Surgery Preparation

The procedure takes approximately one to two hours.

Anesthesia method: Local anesthesia or general anesthesia.

Endoscopic Facial Muscle Lifting

The surgeon will suture the fat and the sagging muscle in a higher position to tighten the facial muscles.

The skin and underlying tissues are then sutured together using non-absorbable stitches.

Post-operative care.

After surgery, you will wear a specialized headband for one week, which helps reduce swelling and keeps you comfortable during daily activities. Facial swelling and bruising will gradually subside within one week. Stitches are removed after 7 days. You should avoid heavy physical activity for the first two weeks.

Result of the surgery.

Your face will appear naturally youthful and beautiful after 2–3 weeks, and scars are completely hidden within the hair, making them invisible. The procedure also significantly reduces the appearance of facial wrinkles, helping restore a much more youthful look — just as you desire.

Advantages

- No visible scarring, minimal swelling and pain, short recovery time.

Disadvantages

- Since the surgery does not remove excess skin as in a full facelift, it is only effective for faces with moderate sagging and without sagging in the chin and neck areas.

>>> In summary, an endoscopic facelift is a minimally invasive method with a short recovery time, no visible scarring, and is primarily indicated for individuals with moderate sagging in the mid-face area (temples and cheekbones).

New trend in facelift.

Although a full facelift or endoscopic facelift remains the most optimal facelift method, for younger individuals under 45, thread lifting with "Nano Collagen 3D" or 24K gold threads offers a minimally invasive alternative. This is the latest trend in mid-face muscle lifting, especially for nasolabial folds.
