What is Non - Incisional Blepharoplasty?.

Double eyelids are considered a highly desirable facial feature among Asians. For individuals with single or hooded eyelids seeking to enhance their eyes' expressiveness and overall facial harmony without the need for surgery, non-incisional blepharoplasty is the perfect solution. This method is ideally suited for those who do not have excess skin, fat, or puffiness around the eyelid areas.

Who is suitable for Non-Incisional Blepharoplasty?

- Individuals with congenital mono-eyelids.

- Those with an appropriate amount and firmness of upper eyelid skin.

Treatment details.

1. Before the procedure: The surgeon will examine the patient's face and discuss the available options based upon the client's preferences and natural eyelid anatomy. After reaching an agreement for treatment plans, the doctor draw guiding lines on the patient's upper eyelids.

2. Three tiny holes will be created along the drawn line.

3. The eyelids will be sutured to create an artificial skinfold, following the tarsal plate border.

Post-operative care after the surgery.

- The suture will be removed after five or seven days.

- After the surgery, your eyelids may be swollen and bruised on the first day. To minimize swelling, it is recommended to apply an ice pack four to six times a day during the first 24 hours. This will help reduce swelling and discomfort.

- You should limit strenuous work within 1 week and after 2 weeks you can do exercise.

Advantages.

- The procedure takes a short time of about 15 minutes.

- Less pain and bruises so the recovery time is very short.

- Mostly do not leave a scar and create looking-natural double eyelids as congenital.

Disadvantages.

- This method has smaller candidates pool, focus on individuals with no excess skin, significant fat, or puffiness.
